Irina, a police officer and single mother who has a completely distant relationship with her preteen daughter Juana, returns to her hometown to take care of Nina, her mother, a woman who lives isolated from the town and its inhabitants. Nina hasn't seen her daughter since she fled from that place twenty years ago. The horrendous murder of Camila, the daughter of Irina's old friend Ailén will be an opportunity for her to do justice. With the help of her godfather Fruzzetti, the local Commissioner, the case will force Irina to confront her past, while perhaps allowing her to mend her relationship with her mother and even her daughter.
