Vellarikkappattanam" is an idiom commonly used by Malayalees to describe when a thing happens that no one else can do. Our new Director and Screenplay writer Maneesh Kurup, has done like this, that when we think no one can do, like the name of the film, both inside and outside the film. The theme of the film is the life of a young man named Hari, who finally returns to farming wholeheartedly after being aware of its nobility and in Kerala our youth have a general lack of interest and ignorance towards the heritage of agriculture and agrarianism. The Vellarikkappattanam movie song "Onnanam Kunnil Oradikunnil", was released first and has gone viral, which tells the story of love, family relationships and friendship. Director Maneesh Kurup has shot a 2 hour and 17 minute long film 'Vellarikapattanam' with only one cameraman and 2 assistants. The speciality about this film is that when it takes a minimum of 20 people to make even a short film, by including the favorite artists from the Malayalam short film industry and most importantly two Ministers from Kerala, and above all with over 200 artists our Director has done all this with a few people. Without any doubt, Vellarikapatnam will become a film that can create a lot of revolution in the Malayalam film industry ..
