The Devil's Instrument

In order to save his family, a man tries desperately to get out of a deal he made with the devil. Markus Cole, the protagonist, is a wealthy novelist filled with regret. He has come to realize that the things we give up to obtain the obsessions of our youth are just not worth it, and he is ready to make things right. Daemon, on the other hand, is a laser-focused businessman, but the only currency he really cares about is the human soul. That is because he is the devil. Markus is going to need all of the help he can get if he is to win back what is rightfully his. Of course, it won't be easy. Hariot is just a mystery. Jeff Sprinkles, Markus' best-friend and literary manager, has always been a fighter. Clyde, however, may be an unlikely candidate for Markus' salvation, but still, he's a great attorney. Set in the present day, The Devil's Instrument is ultimately a story of redemption and sacrifice which indisputably proves that success of any kind will never be worth the price of your soul.
