Son of Sardaar 2 – “Pind Di Shaan” Years have passed since Jassi Randhawa (Ajay Devgn) united the feuding families in his ancestral village. Now happily married to Sukh (Sonakshi Sinha), Jassi lives in London and runs a successful chain of desi restaurants. He's modern, but still holds his Punjabi roots close to his heart. Life is peaceful—until a letter from India changes everything. The letter is from his uncle, Bauji, urging him to return to the village. The family’s ancestral land, the pride of Randhawas for generations, is under threat. A shady businessman, Raghbir Chatha, backed by corrupt politicians, wants to buy out the land to build a resort. The villagers are being pressured, and many have already sold their farms. Only the Randhawas’ land stands in the way. Jassi returns to Punjab with his younger cousin, Veer (played by a new young actor), a fun-loving, carefree guy who grew up abroad. Jassi hopes to teach him the value of family, soil, and roots. Back in the village, Jassi finds things changed. The old warmth is fading. Youngsters are moving to cities, elders are disheartened, and unity is crumbling. But Jassi refuses to back down. Using his trademark wit, charm, and a bit of good old-fashioned muscle, he begins to rally the villagers, reigniting their pride. Enter Raghbir Chatha — ruthless, rich, and slick. He doesn’t fight with fists, but with paperwork, bribes, and threats. When intimidation fails, he tries to turn the villagers against Jassi, spreading rumors and manipulating emotions. Even worse, Chatha offers Veer a glamorous job abroad to lure him away, creating a rift between the cousins. Jassi is torn — between fighting for the land and holding his family together. But his spirit doesn’t break. In a high-stakes village panchayat meeting, Jassi delivers a passionate speech about heritage, identity, and the duty of a “Sardaar” — not just to protect land, but to stand as a symbol of honor and strength. His words reignite the spark in the villagers, who finally unite to resist Chatha’s plans. A final showdown takes place during the annual Baisakhi fair. It’s a mix of old-school action, clever comedy, and Punjabi tradition. Jassi and Veer, now reconciled, outsmart Chatha using wit, viral social media support, and a secret clause in the land deed that even the villain missed. In the end, Chatha is defeated—not by violence, but by unity and love for the land. The village celebrates, not just because the land is saved, but because its soul has been restored. “Son of Sardaar 2” ends with a grand wedding — not of Jassi this time, but of Veer, who chooses to stay in India and carry on the legacy, proving that while Sardaaris wear turbans, their true strength lies in their hearts.
