Signature

SIGNATURE is a film that has uniquely captured the scenic beauty of Attappady, the green lungs of South India with a wide variety of flora and fauna. Also, the famed tribal community along with their innocent nature rich traditions and customs have been showcased. Among several unique features that can be enlisted, Signature is the first Indian film that has a song totally in Muduga (tribal) language. It was written by a tribal moopan (leader). The film also is blessed with the presence - singing and acting - of Nanjiyamma, the National Award winning singer. The film also highlights the burning issue of the people in the area - wild elephants wreaking havoc resulting in an atmosphere of fear and panic regarding life and properties. In short, we could very well say that the geographical and social landmarks of the tribal belt of Attappady have been brought to the forefront in this project.
