The background of the "perfume" is the troubles and hardships that city life creates in the life of a housewife. The film discusses how intense is the city's influence on a woman who unexpectedly has to live in the city and its challenges and impact on her life as she succumbs to the temptations of the city. The film captures a woman's helplessness as she confronts specific encounters and friendships that happen in her life in the city and later the same becomes a trap for herself. Perfume takes a serious approach to modern life's hollowness, and people with ulterior motives. This is not only the crisis in a woman's life but also her survival. Abhirami-Leo couple leading a very happy family life. Madhava Das, a multi-millionaire business man unexpectedly comes in between them and exploits Abhirami's adoration with his money and fame. The plot is about how Abhirami survives the problems that arise in Abhirami's family life due to the intervention of Madhav Das.
