Joseph Cross (Lindon), a construction manager, drops everything to rush from the distant suburbs to a hospital. During the journey, Joseph tries to resolve emergency by telephone: to manage the construction site remotely, to confess to his wife a secret that has been concealed, and to reassure a woman who is having panic attack.
