Kadhir and his pet goat Karupu, live with his Grandfather Chellaiya and grandmother in the remote village of Kambur, Tamil Nadu, India. Grandfather Chellaiya, grandson Kadhir and his pet goat Karupu and butcher Vellaisamy are three people whose dreams are interlinked with the fate of a goat Karupu. All three are forced to take hard decisions in order to fulfill their dreams by the dawn of Diwali (Indian Festival). Will their dreams come true by the dawn of Diwali? What will be the fate of Karupu?
