"Het Feest van Tante Rita" is a cheerful family movie, with all the well-known hits from the Minidisco (such as Tsjoe Tsjoe Wa, Coco Loco, and Dance with Auntie Rita) about the biggest dance party of the year. Theo and Lulu go on vacation to the campsite and hope to receive an invitation to Auntie Rita's Party. When they arrive at the campsite, mother Chanelle (Edsilia Rombley) has a nice surprise for them; they are invited. But the road to the party is not without obstacles: the family car cannot be driven, and a lion has escaped from the zoo. Once on the way, Theo and Lulu are also thwarted by Vwo (Piet Tomassen) and his personal driver Remco (Edo Brunner), because Vwo wants to win the dance competition. Can Frank Vonk (Ridder van Kooten) catch the lion in the Tsjoe Tsjoe Wa forest, and can the near-sighted bus driver (Najib Amhali) get Theo and Lulu to the dance party on time?"
