Recognized director and filmmaker Justin LePera embarked on his fifth feature sports documentary again with former Husker players Mark Brungardt and Josh Davis to tell the story of one of the greatest sports teams ever. Brungardt and Davis, whose fathers played for coach Tom Osborne during his tenure with Nebraska, grew up and carried on the tradition of competing in collegiate sports at a high level. On January 1, 1995, Nebraska defeated Miami in the Orange Bowl 24-17 to fulfill Osborne's quest for a National Championship title. Day By Day: The Dynasty reveals the story of the following teams that would win two more National Championships under the guidance and leadership of Coach Osborne.
