Blood and Gold could have had more promise, were it not for the weight of the usual, woke narratives. Turning ordinary German housewives and farm girls, into evil Nazi patriarchy, freedom fighters, with a cowgirl vibe, is not terribly plausible, when faced with battle hardened SS soldiers. Action wise, this flick its reasonable. There are well choreographed fight scenes, especially in the first half of the film. Acting is decent too and the main characterisations are reasonably well constructed, with believable motivations. In summary, a pervasive sense of implausibility, robs this film of the opportunity to represent anything, remotely close, to cinematic "gold". As it stands, its a moderate watch, with decent action to keep the viewer entertained, if you can look beyond its revisionist shortcomings.
