All in the Family

Alexis Sutton is a young Black screenwriter grappling with a bad case of writer's block. She's trying to find inspiration anywhere but her own life, which in her eyes is far from the most exciting topic. When her brother Darius returns home from college, he announces that he's engaged to his longtime boyfriend Jodie Fuchs--whom he hasn't even introduced to his family. What better way to celebrate than a party? The perfect opportunity for the families to meet, mingle, and get acquainted with their soon-to-be familia. But what the Sutton family doesn't know is that the Fuchs family knows exactly who they are. This night will be one that both families will never forget.
